NEW PAIN ISSUES AND HELP WITH CHIROPRACTIC

As stated by the American Chiropractic Association, our Plainville chiropractic patients are not alone! Chiropractic patients across the country are describing some new pain issues with their neck, shoulders, and upper back during COVID experience, especially patients who wear masks for long hours. Surely, stress is a contributing factor to pain in normal life. In these times, it’s no surprise that patients are describing more pain. Masks may well add to pain in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Masks may affect vision. If a mask rests too high, the wearer may tuck the chin to see better or hold the neck in an awkward way to see better. A better fitting mask may be beneficial. More frequent breaks may help. Stretching more often may help. A walk to de-stress is a terrific option! (5) Your Plainville chiropractor knows these issues and is here to help!
